A Celebration of Community: Performances in Honor of Rebecca Chopp's Inauguration, Lang Performing Arts Center.
After a series of workshops and performances in 2009, we are working hard on a dynamite rearrangement of our signature piece for this event. MEELEY returns to the stage in a whole new light as we continue to hone the beautifully bizarre and surprisingly simple storytelling techniques you've come to expect from Earth Speed.

Happy New Year from Earth Speed Productions! After a long break and Stephanie's move to San Francisco (we all dearly miss you here in Philadelphia), we're back to work once again, despite distance and time.
The new year brings reflection on old projects, long-distance brainstorming and, most importantly, our newest undertaking: SYCAMORE. More details will be posted as our work continues.

Our very first post! Stephanie and I are busy writing, rehearsing and assembling all the pieces for September. Thanks to everyone who came to our preview performance in May-- it was a fantastic time and we both agree it was a much needed deadline for us to work towards. Also, many thanks to our friends at Circle of Hope at Broad and Washington for donating their space to us. It's going to be a beautiful space to work in and I can't wait (spoiler alert) to erect our performance tent/blob inside of it! Not to mention the potential those huge white walls have for projection....
